Chekavar brings together a fictional film, an interpretive game and a sourced guide to the Battle of Colachel. Use the historical archive as a starting point and check its linked sources. The film and game characters and their actions are fictional; illustrations are interpretations, not historical evidence.
Reader contributions
When you submit text, images or PDFs, you confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to make them public, including permission from people identifiable in the material. Do not submit confidential information, private personal details, unlawful material or someone else’s work without permission. Your name, submission and files become publicly accessible immediately and may appear in search results. We may remove material that is inaccurate, unsafe, unlawful or unsuitable for the archive.
You keep any rights you hold in your submission. You grant the Chekavar website a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to store, reproduce, display and make it available as part of this public archive, and to make technical copies needed to operate it. You may ask us to remove your submission at aviumgaruda@gmail.com. Removal from the site may not remove copies already downloaded or indexed elsewhere.
Store and collector enquiries
Merchandise selections are expressions of interest, not paid orders or accepted offers. No payment is taken. Product imagery is illustrative; specifications, availability, taxes, shipping, delivery and final sale terms must be confirmed before any purchase. Prices shown for selected pieces are proposed prices until a paid sale is opened.
Digital editions are not minted or sold here. When offered, each verified edition will include an invitation to both the Chekavars Club and the Colachel Historians Club, subject to the holder’s consent and group rules, plus one invitation to a special Dolby Atmos screening of Chekavar. The screening date, venue, admission and travel arrangements, and the method and timing of holder verification will be published before sale. A token does not by itself transfer copyright, film rights or commercial use rights. The proposed oil painting has not been made; the displayed image is a digital composition study. The indicated amount is private and nonbinding. No auction or accepted bid exists until the physical work, provenance, rules and payment process are published.
Community clubs
Registering interest does not make you a member or add you to a WhatsApp group. Participation is voluntary. The Chekavars Club and Colachel Historians Club are intended for members to build their own teams around community action and historical preservation. Further group rules and invitation details will be shared before joining.
Links and rights
External links lead to third-party services with their own terms. Credits, references and mentions of other organisations describe sources and collaboration where stated; they do not grant visitors rights in those organisations’ names or materials. Contact us before reusing film art, character designs or other site assets. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
